Catification Continues

In Rick’s workshop all catification projects must have the
Good Housekeeping Paw of Approval. Rufus gives his OK.

Now installed in Cat Room #4 at the shelter, the structure is quite popular. That’s Fruit Salad in the bottom cubby. She was found under a porch with her kittens during an early winter storm and brought to PAWS. She’s a very sweet natured, patient young cat. Continue reading “Catification Continues”

Sarah and Creamsicle

Sarah and Creamsicle came to PAWS from two different families in 2012, when they were both nine years old.

Why are they still at PAWS?
Well, they are older cats. And they would rather be “only cats”. And it takes time to get to know them.

Sarah likes to be brushed and enjoys cardboard boxes. Creamsicle has the loudest purr in the shelter and likes to play.
They’re waiting to be discovered at PAWS.

Breakfast at PAWS

Gem is an agile, friendly 10 year old, and this is her favorite spot for surveying the room.

“I spy with my big gold and green eyes… Hoppity’s breakfast!”

HipGemMild mannered Hoppity doesn’t seem to mind.

At least Hoppity got the mouse.

Hippity and Hoppity are brothers who are available for adoption together. Gem and the boys get along quite well with other cats and are looking for a quiet loving home.

A Day at the Shelter

Bjork is happily occupying top position with her shadow Shadow below.

Shadow is a shy cat, more comfortable with other cats than with people.

Meanwhile in Cat Room #1

Buddy (on top) and Sarah would prefer a home where they would be the only cat in the house.

All of these cats are available at PAWS.
