Is this a mouse I see before me, its tail toward my mouth?
Come, let me clutch thee…

Dior and Halley both came to PAWS as strays. They are roommates and enjoy hanging out together.
Handsome Dior is about three years old. This friendly laid-back guy has tested positive for FIV. Kitties who test positive can live long, happy, and healthy lives. A recent study by Cornell University suggests that FIV negative and positive cats, like Dior and Halley, can safely live side by side in the same home with no issues.

These siblings came to PAWS from a hoarding situation. They needed veterinary care and extensive dentals. Now that they’ve recovered, and have gotten a lot of TLC, they’re ready for a new home.

There are four cats living in the PAWS kitchen now. This is Brigit who comes with a pronunciation guide (“Bri-zheet”). She’s a very friendly polydactyl cat. The kitchen cats have lots of beds, a big window, and…
they have their very own sink.
This is 11 year old Max who hopped up to get a drink while I was filling their water bowl.
Brigit is available for adoption, with her sister Bjork (that’s Bee-york). Max would love a home of his own. Personable Freddy (or should I say catable Freddy?) rounds out the residents of the kitchen.
Roommates Junior (on the lower perch) and Patch were both “owner-release” cats, although not from the same household. They have been living the Shelter life for quite a while.
Their days are spent napping and people watching from the window that looks into the PAWS lobby.
When they see someone come into the shelter, are they thinking, “Will this be the person who brings me home?”
Patch is almost four years old and Junior is about two and a half. They are healthy and ready to go!
