Pasha

ePasha2

Pasha is presently living in a foster home and happy to be inside during this brutally cold Connecticut Winter.
She was rescued in a TNR operation, but it was soon apparent that Pasha is not a feral cat.

Her foster mother says, “It’s almost impossible to get a good photo of her because the moment you even look in her direction she comes up to you and starts rubbing against you looking for attention.”
You can read more about this petite young Maine Coon and find Pasha’s adoption information HERE.

Gentle Giant Salomon

eSolomon2

This big boy is living in the Meeting Room at PAWS. Some of each day is spent in a cage.

Solomon5

Waiting to come out to play, to nap, to stretch out, to visit with his admirers.

eSolomon

As you can see, he’s quite an armload! But when we pick him up to put him back in his cage, he doesn’t struggle or complain or disagree.

eSolomon3

Salomon is a very handsome agreeable guy. He’d make an excellent roommate!

New Year, New Friends

Meet the magnificent Ivan and, in the background, his handsome brother Irwyn. These friendly boys came to PAWS in December and are only a year and half old.

While I was taking pictures Everet said, “Hey, what about me? I’m still here at the shelter too”.

Update: You won’t be surprised to learn that Ivan has already been adopted!

You’ve Got a Friend

Julio and Concha

Some of the pairs at the Shelter came in together. Some found comfort in new friends that they met at PAWS.

“Ain’t it good to know that you’ve got a friend
When people can be so cold
They’ll hurt you, and desert you
And take your soul if you let them
Oh, but don’t you let them…

You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I’ll come running to see you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I’ll be there
You’ve got a friend.”
