Celebrating the adoptions of Simba II, Kit-e, Gladys, Oliver (a very sweet black cat- sorry, no photograph), kittens Patrick and Bunny!

Meanwhile, back in Cat Room #1, Molly quickly discovered the bag of new cat toys and staked her claim.

Spring

Spring has sprung,
The catnip is riz.
I wonder where the birdies is?

It looks more like Thanksgiving than Easter, but there they were in our backyard this morning.

After the Holidays, we had a lot of cardboard boxes in the garage.
You will need way too much time on your hands, a glue gun, and many many long strips of cardboard for this project….

but the cats really are using it! Directions HERE.

Tessa spends a lot of her time in a cage. Because she’s on a special diet, and she’s not fond of other cats, she can’t live in one of the open rooms at the shelter. When it’s her turn to be loose in the room, she’s a happy cat.
Maybe that catnip toy is helping to elevate her mood…

Catnip is one of the first plants leafing out in the garden each Spring…
and my cat Tommie knows exactly where to find it.
