Little Cat Houses

Our friends at Fukumaru donated several cat houses to PAWS.

They are made of wood and very sturdy. The houses come with hardware to hang them on walls. But, due to their weight and the less than sturdy metal studs in the shelter’s walls, Rick decided to build a low table for them with a connecting tunnel.
Of course, Rufus had to investigate and supervise.

Fantastic Furry Female Felines

Young Mittens was brought to the shelter when her person became ill and couldn’t care for her.
She’s a beautiful mild-mannered girl who gets along with other nice cats.
We send good wishes to her person and wish we could let him or her know that Mittens is doing fine.

Mirabelle became homeless when her people were evicted.
Now she’s patiently and sweetly waiting for a new home at PAWS.

Huey

Good News! Jerry and Newman have been adopted.

That meant the Lobby Room was empty and could get a much needed touch up.

Meanwhile, across the Lobby, Huey watched and waited for me.
Two year old friendly, high energy Huey wants company, loves to play, but doesn’t love other cats. So there he stays, in a nice room of his own, impatiently waiting for his next playmate.
