For the past ten years I’ve been creating artwork to celebrate the Chinese zodiac.
February 12th marks the beginning of the Year of the OX.
Work in progress; Ernie considers my drawing table a prime spot for a nap.
Mickey Mouser and Rufus the Red agree.
Do you know what animal corresponds to your birth year?
Check Wikipedia for the answer.
Your art is beautiful and I love it. I was born in the Year of the Rabbit, but I prefer the Vietnamese calendar where it is the Year of the Cat instead.
I’m a rabbit too! I’m looking forward to illustrating the Year of the rabbit/cat in 2023.
Thanks for commenting.
Beautiful art, with the kitties snoopervising I can imagine it was a challenge. I think this is the purrfect time for the Year of the Ox, we need all of those qualities this year, Thanks for sharing the info, kitties and artwork.
