While visiting family in Washington State last weekend, we explored the countryside on a Farm Tour.
We petted a yak, tasted cider, walked through fields of lavender and sunflowers.
One of the stops was Center Valley Animal Rescue.
There was an incredible variety of wild and domestic animals on 32 acres of ponds, pastures, and buildings.
Raccoons and rabbits to reptiles, sheep, pigs, dogs…
And yes, cats in cosy catios.
Like PAWS, this is a non-profit rescue with many volunteers. But the amount of work, and wide range of expertise needed with so many different creatures, is mind blowing.
Aww, they are all so adorable.
I linked this post to Feline Friday. Hope you don’t mind.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ❤
That is amazing that there are so many different kinds of animals there. But what a wonderful thing.
