This week Rick and I went to Connecticut’s first cat cafe in New Haven.
We brought our own coffee, because the cafe is operating as a temporary pop up and is not serving any beverages yet. We spent a very pleasant hour with a group of the most beautiful and playful tabbies!
The cats are available for adoption through Animal Haven, a no kill shelter in North Haven. Two black cats went home last week, and there are applications for these lovely tabbies.
Mew Haven Cat Cafe is only open until Wednesday December 13th. They will close for the Winter while they continue renovating, enlarging the space, and adding the cafe section.
A good time was had by all, and we’ll be going back when they reopen!
You can follow their progress on Facebook.
I am happy to see that CT has a cat cafe, maybe I can get to that one someday.
That sure looks like it’s going to be a nice place and of course the kitties are most wonderful! Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

What a great place and how wonderful that some kitties found homes for the Holidays.
That’s so awesome. Hooray that we have a Cat Cafe in CT now! We’ll visit when they re-open after the winter!
