Merritt

Yes, you’ve seen her before, on my blog and on our friends Kevin and Tracey’s Animal Shelter Volunteer Life. Beautiful Merritt is content and happy at PAWS.
After all, it’s the only home she’s known for quite a few years…

Merritt is a calico cat with lovely tabby stripes.
She’s friendly, playful, independent and she gets along fine with her feline roommates.
If you’re looking for someone who will keep you company, take a real interest in your life, and always lets you know exactly how she feels, Merritt is the cat for you!
Come meet her at PAWS in Norwalk CT.

  1. Merritt is such a cutie pie. It’s a mystery why she is still waiting for her forever home! I hope a special someone will come get her very soon!

  2. We are surprised too that no one has adopted Merritt. We have all our paws crossed that someone will come adopt her very soon. She is just so pretty and looks like such a nice cat.

  3. Great pictures, Maggie! We hung out for quite a while with Merritt and her roomies yesterday. 🙂

Merritt is such a beautiful ladycat, and she does enjoy spending time with her human friends. She has just enough tortitude to keep things exciting, but in a fun way. She’ll bring a lot of joy to some lucky adopter.

Thank you for the shoutout, and for being such a great friend!

  4. OMG, it’s a Peaches look-a-like. How could anyone not adore this pretty kitty! And look how she’s posing for the camera! Merritt, we are wishing for you the soonest Forever home. (Glad you’re happy where you are, but hoping for even greater happiness for you!) Love, Carol, P & P

  5. What beautiful eyes you have!
    Change her name to Merry,
for the happiness she will surely bring someone!

  6. Another beauty in spirit as well as appearance! I was curious how old she is since you mentioned her being at PAWS for years … but she’s only FOUR!! I truly wish I lived within a reasonable driving distance!

  7. What a sweet little face. And I adore those green eyes! I love it that she feels so relaxed and comfortable in the shelter. It’s certainly better than living out on the streets. But I also hope she gets to experience a real, loving home soon. She looks like she has so much to offer.
