Meet Gidget!
Well, let’s give her a minute to emerge…
What do you think, Gidget?
Nine year old Gidget is gentle and loving toward people and other cats.
She’s had a series of unfortunate events starting when her long time kitty companion passed away. Her sorrow and confusion led her to temporarily forget her litter box training, and her humans brought her to the shelter.
I know this petite girl will find a compassionate and patient forever home. She’s certainly finding love among the staff and volunteers at PAWS!
Litter box problems are a common reason given when cats are surrendered at shelters. There’s a lot of good advice and many solutions on websites like Pet MD.
You poor sweetie, you hang in there, the wonderful humans there will make sure you get your happy back. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
Oh Gidget, you look like you are so cute. We sure hope someone gets you that understands what you have been through. It is so hard when animals lose their companions. We sure have our paws crossed for you. Have a great day.
Precious little girl. I hope that the perfect humans come by, see you and snap you up to make theirs forever and ever.
Poor Gidget, that is no reason to give up a cat. I hope she gets her forever home soon.
She looks like the female version of Cody and I just love her!!!! Tweeted and shared her on Cody’s page! xoxo
She is already getting braver and coming out from her hiding place for pets and love.
Sweet, sweet Gidget. We can see you getting braver and know that your forever family is out there!

Hi Gidget, you are such a beauty!
We love Gidget! She certainly is getting lots of affection from all of the volunteers, and gaining confidence with each passing week. 🙂
Gidget’s story is too heartbreaking. I hope her sorrow will ease soon with lots of love she receives at PAWS and hope she will find a wonderful forever home!
Awww, poor baby. She is so pretty too and will make someone a very loving companion. We hope she finds a forever home very soon.
Gidget is a sweetie and deserves a loving home soon! Will share xx

Emma and Buster
Gidget, you are stunning, and it so hurts our hearts that the humans you lived with would surrender you after you lost your kitty friend. We know just the right family is out there to give you a whole new start and all the love you deserve. Hang in there, sweetie. Poor little Gidget! Your humans didn’t deserve you, and I hope you get a lovely forever home soon.
What an adorable kitty. Hope she finds her peeps.
We have 4 kitties, so it’s a full house here. They’re so joyful.
Peeps are so impatient and unforgiving. I just know there will be a better family for you just around the corner.
Purrs, Erin
People are brainless. Would you throw a human out for issues like that NO!! You take them to the doctor – and you take the cat to the damned VET for help!
I despair of humans sometimes….
Gidget went to a foster home about a week ago and they are officially adopting her as of today!
