You might be wondering why I’m featuring this toilet flange on a cat blog…
When we needed to replace the big climbing pole in Cat Room #8, we went to the plumbing department of a hardware store to buy plastic pipe (that’s what’s under the 220 feet of sisal rope). The flange fit perfectly into the pipe, and Rick cut a round wooden platform which we screwed down and covered in carpet for the top!
Theodore is an extremely handsome and playful young cat. He’s popular with all the ladies – like his new roommate Lucille.
Three year old Lucille and Theodore would make wonderful additions to any home. They offer constant companionship and entertainment.
Come meet them at PAWS. Bring toys!
Ha! We were wondering how you guys built that cool platform. Theo totally loves it! 🙂
Hey, did you hear? Lucille has been adopted! 🙂
That is so great the way you fixed the top of the scratching post. The kitties here would love that. So glad that Lucille has found a home. So we send Theodore lots of luck in finding a home. You all have a most wonderful day.
Cool idea!! Plus, we’re glad to see Lucille was adopted!! YAY!
The Florida Furkids
What an ingenious idea!
I hope these 2 cuties get a forever home together.
Wow, what a great catification work! You are so creative! Looks like Theodore is enjoying the view from the top 🙂 Lucille is such a beautiful girl. Happy Sunday to you all!
That was pretty cool plumbing! Hey, those sweet faces sure are ready to share the love and we hope the forever homes come soon!
oh they are adorable and that pole is genius!
Very clever!
Adorable pictures of precious kitties!
That cat tree “fix” was inspired. We just ordered two spools of sisal from Amazon to do some repair of our cat trees. Theodore and Lucille both are gorgeous. We can’t imagine they’ll be waiting for homes for too long. Thanks for hopping with us. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo and Cooper Murphy
Theodore looks like he’s quite the character! And Lucille is stunning! I can’t imagine anyone NOT falling in love with them.
Oh Lucille…how wonderful but I wish that Theodore had gone with you. May he too find a loving home.
You have the best “stuff” for the kitties at PAWS! We are keeping everything crossed that Theodore will also find a home very soon!! He’s a handsome guy!
Very clever! It helps to have an imagination when you have cats!
Supreme practicality, I love it. In fact I shall see if I can use this in a cat tree of my own. Both these guys are stunning, and so glad Lucille has a new home, now for Theodore!

That is a great idea for the tower. Great news that Lucille has been adopted. I hope Theodore soon gets his forever home too.
Wonderful and good news about Lucille! Do you think hubby could build a hidey hole on the top shelf where the black cats are? I felt they needed a high spot for privacy.
A very creative fix! Glad it worked and that Theodore approved.
Had to share this with some of my catlovers!
INSPIRED – TOTALLY INGENIOUS AND BRILLIANTLY INSPIRED!!
Theodore and Lucille are two totally enchanting cats and we hope fortune and a good home lies just around the corner.
