Crawdad watches over the youngsters in the PAWS Lobby Room. In fact he may very well be the actual daddy of some of these large kittens. They came from the same neighborhood and there’s a strong family resemblance. Check it out!
That’s eight month old Limpet in the foreground. Alabama, the shy grey kitten behind him, is from a different litter.
Here’s another member of the clowder.
Yes, I said clowder, although spell-check doesn’t approve at all. It’s just one of the collective nouns listed for cats. Some others are: clutter, glaring, and pounce!
We have a kindle of kittens and a cluster of cats waiting for homes at PAWS.
PAWS has a terrific new website where it’s easier than ever to make a virtual visit to the shelter.
Yup, we would certainly guess that Crawdad is the daddy to some of those kttens. I have some cats here that I am pretty sure are related like Girl Kitty and Two Two. Glad you caught Crawdad so at least he doesn’t produce any more and we so hope that all of them find homes really soon.
goodness I love that first photo
That is a mighty fine looking family and handsome Crawdad looks very distinguished!
Wow it seems Crawdad has been a busy mancat!!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

Who’s your daddy?? Crawdad! We purr that they all find homes soon. 🙂
Crawdad is not going to be so busy anymore! He’s retired from the dad business.
I do see the resemblance…and they are all gorgeous 🙂
I like collective noun “pounce!”

Crawdad looks like a wonderful mancat.
I love the different collective nouns for cats. I might have to do a post on them!! Crawdad has been very busy. Glad to see he’s retired!!
We love Crawdad — what a nice mancat he is! We like those youngsters, too (whether they’re Crawdad’s, or not)! 🙂
