And a Foster kitten in our spare bedroom!

eSweetie

We have a three month old guest. This Sweetie Pie (temporary name) was trapped and neutered in a TNR operation. But, there’s hope that she will learn to enjoy the indoor life and won’t be returned to a managed feral colony.
CLICK HERE to see a very short film clip and let me know if you think she looks friendly.

  1. Sweetie Pie definitely looks unfriendly, will take a lot of work for sure. Ha! Listen to her purr motor! What a Sweetie Pie indeed. 🙂

Purrs to them all to find wonderful and true forever homes.

  2. Aw, what a cutie. We’re in the same boat. I just got back from the shelter and considering fostering but with me it’s likely to be a failed foster. Praying the stats for kitten adoption improve.

  3. Oh Maggie, that is one cute and very friendly Sweetie Pie. She is going to make such a nice addition to your group. LOL, That is so great that she is so friendly. Glad you have her. Hope the other kitties find homes really soon too. All my foster have been failure except one. Take care.

  4. Awww… what a wonderful way to start my day! Such sweeties they are… and of course, how can I possibly resist a tuxie kitten!!! Looks like Sweetie Pie is living up to her name. How exciting to have her staying with you and to see her setting in! … I know, temporarily.
    xoxo

  5. I have Sweetie Pie’s two brothers at my house for fostering (Aiden & Joshua) and they are doing great! If anyone knows of someone looking for a pair of great brothers send ’em my way! They are already neutered, FIV tested negative, have their first shots & are about 3 to 3-1/2 months old.

  6. Maggie…she is adorable! I could hear her loud purr on your video clip. What a little angel.

  7. Yes, it is a bumper crop year for Kittens!
I just adopted Rocky, a precious gray designer tabby
with great stripes, white paws and spots on his tummy.
A litter of 6 were born under my sister’s pool shed in Lubbock Texas.
She takes great kitty pictures too and I could not resist anymore.
My kitties Cocoa & Sundance are still asking what I have done.

Dear Maggie, good luck fostering precious little Sweetie Pie,
she is clearly a sweetheart too.

As someone once told me . . .
“Life is short, adopt a kitty!”
