The Kindness of Strangers

When I met little kitten Blanche this week, I thought of Blanche Dubois in “A Streetcar Named Desire.” Her big line at the end of the movie was, “I have always depended on the kindness of strangers.”

The cats, kittens, dogs and puppies at the shelter depend on all of us.
In a few weeks PAWS is having it’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It’s called “Bark in the Park”, or as I like to call it, “Meow in the Meadow.”
I have a secure donation page, CLICK HERE, and would be so grateful if you could help with any amount!

Blanche thanks you too.

  2. Goodness, Blanche you are just so cute. What a good advocate you are for the shelter. We love the pictures. Take care.

  3. Will make sure to visit Bark in the Park. Fritz and I are very happy to have met each other at Paws !

  4. When a single kitten is brought to the shelter, coming up with a name is sometimes hard. But when that kitten was found on Dubois St. in Stamford, picking the name Blanche wasn’t so difficult.
