Time Share

It’s been a while since my own cats have made an appearance here.

At Christmas, friends gave me a basket filled with gourmet treats.
I unpacked it on my kitchen island, and before I could decide where to put it, the cats staked a claim.
Morning Shift: Baby Mickey has a rainbow on his face from a crystal in the window.

Any Time Food Is Prepared Shift: Tommie loves to keep us company.

Night Shift: Here’s Gracie!

They love this basket. My question is, why do they avoid the lovely new cat bed I purchased for them?

  1. An especially purchased cat bed cannot compete with the exquisite pleasure of the gourmet treats basket. It fills every need – perfect for claw excercise, nice huggy feel for security, handy extra stretch access holes at each end and the best attribute of all – it’s right in the middle of everything you are doing in the kitchen!

That rainbow on Mickey’s sweet face is such a gift. We love Tommie’s fine polypaws (he looks very wise) and Gracie, well she is just a Queen of Comfort.

    Gorgeous!

  2. Such a lovely post, Maggie. I love that your cats all enjoy the basket. Sorry to hear they prefer it over the cat bed you purchased, but that’s how it always works, isn’t it? 😉
