Chompers is just under a year old, likes baby food and gentle brushing. The shape of his upper eyelids makes him look disgruntled but he can’t help that.
A group of PAWS volunteers have been working intensively with some feral cats at the shelter. So far Mindy, Maggie, Santana, Pokeeta, and Chompers are all gradually responding to the extra attention and treats.
We are hoping this program will make the cats much better candidates for adoption.
Chompers is so darned cute! Thank you to all of the awesome volunteers who are working with the room 7 gang … it sounds as though all of the efforts are working! 🙂
I’d be a sucker for this face. So cute. xo
Chompers! What a wonderful name you have! I think your unusual eye shape is very attractive, you don’t look disgruntled – what cat would be disgruntled at PAWS? I hope you are enjoying all the socialisation too!
Whicky Wuudler
It looks as if he might have some mild eyelid agenesis, where the eyelid doesn’t form all the way in utero. Some extreme versions can be found with the True Bloods at Love and Hisses.
At any rate, I hope it doesn’t bother him and he tames down quite nicely. He’s a beautiful kitteh!
