Here’s an update on the continuing process of easing our foster kitten Mickey into our furry family. Gracie is hissing less and keeping a fairly close eye on him. Tommie is still hiding under the bed…
Let me know if you have any suggestions!

Poor Tommie! The pictures make it look as though things are at least somewhat progressing. Our paws are crossed that everything works out…
Looks like things are going well I think. Feeding them all together is sometimes a great way of chilling them all out, as long as you prepare the food in another room, otherwise you get all that food/anxiety/whapping/boxing matches going on. You can gradually bring the food dishes a bit closer together too I’ve found.
Gracie looks like she is going to be in charge of Manners Class for Mickey too!
I’d give Tommie lots of attention and let him have some space away from Mickey if he needs it – up high is good or away in another room. But if you can give him lots of love and fuss when Mickey and Gracie are in the same room, it might help his confidence and it will let Mickey see that Tommie is an important cat!
Hope that helps, you are doing a splendid job!
