Carrie

Imagine that you are 60 years old. Your family decides that they can’t keep you around any more and drops you off at a shelter…
That’s Carrie’s situation. She’s 11 years old. Is she bitter or angry? No. She’s one of the most affectionate cats at the shelter.

There’s a handy conversion chart here– how old is your cat?
UPDATE: Carrie has a new home!

  1. She looks like a real sweetie pie! I know this is all too common…All my fur kids are adoptees and I’m a member of a shelter in our region. I can’t fathom the mind set of some (many) humans, I really can’t. One can only hope that what goes around comes around for those people…and that Carrie finds the *right* forever home very soon.

Fingers and paws crossed for her!

  2. Beautiful photos… Carrie looks like such a sweetheart. It breaks our hearts to hear her story. We pray she finds a new forever home very soon.

Thank you soooo much for visiting my blog during the Cat-O-Lympics! It was a great week for sure. I’ve already started training for the next games… Power Napping!

  3. What a sweetheart Carrie is. Maybe it is fortuitous that Carrie came to the shelter. At least she is out of the hands of people who simply did not deserve such a wonderful feline and will now find a family who will truely honour her with a good forever home.
